Unity
Araw ng Kagitingan is also known as Bataan Day or Valor Day it is commemorated every 9th of April, this is one of the Holiday in the Philippines. We celebrate this holiday to remember or marks the greatness of Filipino fighters during World War II.
Within that week there is an occasion to honor not only Filipino veterans but also to remember those who sacrifice their lives in fighting or defending our Country in that war. This is to acknowledge and to reminisce there contributions in preserving our sovereignty. Bataan day is also a symbol of the bravery and patriotism of Filipinos’. In this time as we face different global issues like COVID-19 we remain brave, cooperative, resilient and we unite us one as we go through this battle because if we fight together we can survive any adversities. Our heroes fight for our country so as teenagers we can be a hero not only for ourselves but also for the others.
As year passes by we should not forget to remember or celebrate the Araw ng Kagitingan as a simple recognition to all their sacrifices for our Country. So we should be proud on our country, we unite us one and we heal us one.
